Award Winning Black and Grey Specialist
I'm Mike Fabrizio, a tattoo artist from Philadelphia, Pa. I've been tattooing for about 7 years now. Prior to this, I served in the United States Marine Corps. As a kid, I was always drawing and painting and had a huge interest in art. Growing up, my parents and a lot of my family members had tattoos. I had two uncles who were tattoo artists. After getting out of the Marines, I decided that I also wanted to pursue tattooing as a career. So I apprenticed under one of my uncles in Lakeland, Florida. When I completed my apprenticeship I returned to PA and scored a job in a local Philly street shop. I haven't looked back since.
I'm currently tattooing out of Double Deez Tattoos in West Chester, Pa. We won "Best of West Chester" in 2015 and 2016. Our shop was also 3rd place in "Best of Philly" even though we are two counties away. Some of my personal accomplishments include being Published in several issues of Ink Junkeyz Magazine and having the honor of tattooing an Olympic Gold Medalist, Cierra Runge, from the 2016 Summer Olympics. It was her first tattoo and she got the Olympic Rings. Since then, she's been a frequent flyer and has been back for multiple tattoos.
After messing around with all the tattoo styles from traditional to realism, I found my comfort zone to be in Black and Grey, specifically BnG realism and portraits. Sometimes I'm in the mood to do some traditional work and I do basically ALL styles, but my preference is in BnG.
